Blood Grouping test kits for ABO and RhD are used to determine a person’s blood type. They work by mixing a small sample of the person’s blood with specific antibodies that react differently depending on the blood type.

nTo conduct the test, a drop of the person’s blood is placed on a special testing card or slide. Then, specific antibodies for each blood type are added to the blood sample. If the blood cells react with a particular antibody, it indicates the presence of that blood type. By observing which antibodies cause agglutination or clumping of the blood cells, healthcare providers can identify the person’s ABO and RhD blood group.
